Board and Committee Structure

 

Role of the Board

 

The Marsh Farm Community Development Trust is governed by a Board of 21 Board members, who set the strategic direction of the Trust and is accountable for the delivery of the NDC programme.

 

The Trust Board members include:

 

  • 11 Resident Directors

  • 1 youth Resident Director

  • 2 councillor representatives

  • 2 business representatives

  • 5 partners (Luton Borough Council, Age Concern, the Police, the Primary Care Trust and Luton University)

 

Reporting to the Board are several committees who are responsibility for Finance, HR and the delivery of all NDC projects.

 

NDC Committee - Oversees the five advisory groups and approves projects from the local appraisal panel.

 

General Purpose Committee - Oversees the human resources and finance of the Trust and considers reports from the CERC committee.


The CERC committee - Oversees the management of the building, agrees applications for building space and makes recommendations to the General Purpose Committee.
