Redevelopment of the Central Area
Following consultations over a number of years – leading up to the recent week of further consultation - local residents have expressed their views on the final five options and preference for the redevelopment of the Central Area of Marsh Farm.
During the week of consultation at a number of venues, MFCDT has endeavoured to give all residents of all ages an opportunity to express their opinion. In addition to the events, newsletters with reply envelopes have been distributed across the estate enabling views to be sent directly and a telephone hotline has been available.

Many residents have taken the opportunity to attend events, ask questions and express an opinion. Consultation events were also held with local service providers and local businesses.
The Electoral Reform Services has independently verified the responses received for MFCDT.
All of the information gathered during the consultation is currently being reviewed and will receive initial consideration by the MFCDT Board at its 3rd March meeting – following which a decision is due to be taken on the course of action that will be followed.
The MFCDT Board will take into consideration all of the views expressed in reaching a decision on the way forward.
The next phase will be the development of a detailed action plan with the aim that work will start this Spring! If anyone would like to get involved in the detailed design work they should contact MFCDT on 01582 512555
Full details of the consultation, the response and the agreed way forward will be printed in the forthcoming edition of the Marsh Farm Matters Newsletter due out in March.
