Changing Face Of Marsh Farm

Residents enjoy changing face of Marsh Farm

More than 200 residents of Marsh Farm came to see for themselves how work is progressing on the new £8million Community Enterprise Resource Centre.

The Marsh Farm Community Development Trust held an open day recently where local people could see plans and displays and talk to members of staff and representatives from key organisations involved with the works. These included contractors Volker FitzPatrick, Aldwyck housing and Wates who are working on the Building Schools for the Future programme.

There were also representatives from local projects such as the Marsh Farm Youth Forum, Groundwork and the Healthy Eating Initiative.

The residents were also able to enjoy entertainment on the day including stilt walkers, jugglers, face painting and a free barbeque which helped to make it a real community event.
