Fun and Football at the festival

Fun and football at the festival

If you need to get into the mood for the World Cup Final Marsh Farm has the answer. Come and have fun at the 2010 One World One Community festival on Sunday 11 July from 12 – 4pm at Freemans Green.

The day will include a host of stalls, exhibitions, food, displays, entertainment and a car boot sale. If you still want more of the beautiful game there is also a football tournament to show the England team how it is done.

Families can also visit the tents of both MFCDT and the new succession organisation Marsh Farm Futures and have the opportunity to talk staff and see the latest plans for the estate including the new indoor play park and improving the local landscape.

Dave Crean, Chair of the Marsh Farm Community Development Trust is looking forward to another happy and successful event. “This annual family fun day celebrates the diverse community living on the estate”, he said. “It brings together residents and most of the local organisations to enjoy a day of fun for the whole community.”

If you are interested in performing on the stage or would like to take a stall at the festival contact the Jubilee Centre on 01582 493371.
