What is the Youth Forum?
“The Marsh Farm Youth Forum is a strong voice that represents a diverse range of young people from all different backgrounds that live within Marsh Farm. Young people are empowered with powerful and smart opinions and the Youth Forum brings many of those people together to make decisions on the priorities that are important to us.
The Marsh Farm Youth Forum was formed four years ago and now has over 80 people involved. They have benefited from youth events such as game days, workshops, sports events, job apprentices or being involved in projects like dance competitions and anti bullying ...
Future Events
Youth Forum set sail to Plymouth
The Marsh Farm Youth Forum has arranged for several members to attend a Young Advisors training weekend in Plymouth on Saturday 8th August. The young people will be invited to participate in a series of events, which have been organised by the Young Advisor’s Development Director. They will also be involved in presentations and team building exercises and more importantly, a Saturday night barbeque!
Youth Grant
The Marsh Farm Youth Grant is a fund developed for young people, so that they can organise activities for themselves and their friends. The grant has already funded quite a few projects and there is hope it will be used more frequently in the future.
